GUWAHATI: A young swimmer from North Guwahati named Kamal Krishna Das has crossed the Brahmaputra River within 27 minutes.
Kamal started his feat from Kharguli in Guwahati and reached Madhyam Khana located in North Guwahati in 27 minutes.
Earlier, Kamal Krishna Das was awarded National Bravery Award by President Ram Nath Kovind for his act of bravery when he saved both his aunt and mother from drowning in the flooded Brahmaputra on 5th September 2018.
A resident of North Guwahati, Kamal Krishna Das studies in St. Anthony’s School.
