A Yamaha Family Carnival; as a part of Yamaha’s safety program is being held in the city at Boripara, Maligaon from August 25th August 27th. As a part of the carnival, trained professionals from Yamaha academy will be available who will train willing learners about traffic guidelines and norms. This exercise will also include special tips for riding, keeping in mind, the difficult road conditions and the riding gear they can use.

To promote safe driving, Yamaha is also giving away free helmets with every purchase. Apart from that, there are free medical camps and free service check-ups and a full tank of petrol for every motor cycle purchased.

There are additional programs for children, plus a learning session designed to encourage parents to wear helmets. Speaking to Amit Agarwal of Grand Yamaha, he said, “Parents might not wear helmets, but if their children tell them, then it might work. Kids can reinforce good behaviour in parents too. They can play a vital role in educating the parents.” Speaking to Rekib Hassan, Regional Business Head of Yamaha Motors, he said, "The Family Safety program encourages and trains female riders because we believe in imparting safe riding habits that include wearing helmets and following traffic rules and it is imperative that everyone follows it."
