GUWAHATI: In its drive against drugs, the Government Railway Police (GRP) in Assam’s New Bongaigaon Railway Station recovered a bag of drugs from a train on Wednesday.
Acting on a specific input shared by Gajraj Intelligence, the GRP searched the Dibrugarh-bound Vivek Express and recovered a bag of Yaba tablets from the general compartment of the train.

The GRP recovered 17000 Yaba tablets from the bag, and the price of the seized tablet is estimated to be worth around ₹1,50 crore.
The GRP has filed an FIR under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
