GUWAHATI: Boxer Jamuna Boro has advanced to the 54kg semi-finals by defeating Ursula Gottlob of Germany at the AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships in Ulan Ude, Russia, on Thursday, October 10.
The 4-1 decision came after a fierce battle between both the contenders.
Earlier in the tournament, Jamuna defeated Michidmaa Erdenedalai of Mongolia and Algeria's Sfouh Ouidad.
