GUWAHATI: The body of a woman was recovered from a house in Dupoliya, Jyotikuchi after the locals complained of foul smell.

As per locals, the body has been lying inside the house for almost three months now.
The deceased’s son, Joydeb Dey, was reportedly living with the body in the house.
Police said that they were informed by the local residents about the smell and a patrolling party was accordingly sent. Since how many days the body was inside the house is yet to be known after proper investigation by the forensic department.
The son has been detained for questioning.
