Singh reportedly planned to travel to Shillong and Tawang. However, since the early hours of April 5, Singh has been untraceable and all attempts to contact him have failed.

“He took the vehicle saying it was for a tour to Shillong and Tawang,” Borah told GPlus. “The last location we got was Sonapur. After that, the GPS was removed. I’ve tried calling but there’s been no response. It was last located in Sonapur after the toll gate on April 5. After that, the GPS was removed,”

Borah also claimed that Singh had been accused of similar incidents in the past.

Borah has filed a complaint at Dispur police station on April 6. An official from the police station told GPlus: “We have received a report regarding a missing vehicle and its driver. Efforts are underway to trace both the individual and the car. An investigation is ongoing.”

Further details are awaited.
