GUWAHATI: After a successful meeting here in Guwahati with top Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders on Tuesday night, Atul Bora, President, Asom Gana Parishad AGP stated that they will work with the BJP.
"We, had a discussion and it was fruitful. About the understanding we will make a statement later as requested by BJP. As he (Ram Madhav) has stated that in order to defeat the Congress we will work together," said the AGP president.
"You all are aware that we had resigned from the government and as requested we will soon resume our duties," said Atul Bora.
