What's The New Restaurant Of The Year In Guwahati?

 

GUWAHATI: The 7th edition of G Plus Guwahati Food Awards (GFA) 2021 was hosted on Sunday, December 19, at Vivanta, Guwahati. With over 27 categories and 80 restaurants, the Award catered to the entire spectrum of commercial outlets in the ‘eating out’ space of Guwahati. The nominations last year were 180, while a significant increase of almost 200 nominations was witnessed this year. 

The Guwahati Food Awards for the Restaurant Of The Year was received by Freemasons Brewworks.

This edition of Guwahati Food Awards received over 1.15 lakh votes, which were registered on the GFA website and G Plus mobile app.

The Assam Minister for Department of Housing and Urban Affairs and Irrigation Ashok Singhal graced the event as the Chief Guest. 

Renowned food critic and international culinary judge Suresh Hinduja, the Chairman of the jury and Principal Advisor, was also present at the event along with special guest Antoine Lewis, who is a regular contributor to a variety of national and international newspapers, magazines and websites. He also serves as the jury of several national restaurants and hotel awards.

Guwahati Food Awards 2021 is organised by G Plus in association with Blender’s Pride Reserve Collection Music CDs, co-sponsored by Sister Masala and supported by Purabi Milk, Magic Cook and Indane from Indian Oil. The hospitality partner for the event was Vivanta Guwahati.
