GUWAHATI: Taking a lead for the ongoing anti-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) protest in the state, Assam actors and activists launched a website-'Assam Against CAA' in Guwahati.
In a press meet held in Guwahati Press Club, renowned actor Ravi Sharma, Zubeen Garg, Barsha Rani Bishaya, Garima Saikia Garg and Masas Robin took the centre stage to revolt against the Act.
The website states, "Our agitation is to exclude Assam from the purview of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). Our fight is for the injustice done to our Motherland, our People and Our Culture."
