GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Jal Board has issued a public notice on April 25 informing consumers about an interruption in water supply across several areas today due to pipeline damage caused during the construction of a residential building.

The affected localities include Happy Villa, Joipur, Udaigiri, Mondagini, Debogiri, and Bhaskargiri. Officials stated that repair work is currently underway to restore normal water supply at the earliest.
The Guwahati Jal Board has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused and urged residents of the affected areas to bear with the temporary disruption. Consumers have been advised to store adequate water for essential use during the period of interruption.
