GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Jal Board has announced that there will be interruptions in water supply on May 1 and 2 due to scheduled maintenance work on the main pipeline. The interruption will affect all District Metering Areas (DMAs) under the Leechubagan reservoir.

The board has urged its consumers to prepare for the water supply disruptions and has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused.

Additionally, flushing operations in all DMAs under the Ramsahill reservoir have been postponed due to a leak detected in the distribution network. The affected areas include Kharghuli, Joupur, Ramsahill Hirimbapur, Silpukhuri, Pension Para, Karnachal Road, and Nabagraha Downside.
