GUWAHATI: Residents of AK Azad Road, Rehabari, are facing a water crisis following a leakage in a pipeline after ongoing work by the Guwahati Jal Board (GJB), on Sunday, December 15.

Locals claim the leaking pipe belongs to the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC).
Speaking to GPlus, an official from GJB said, “We tried fixing it yesterday, but due to some technical difficulties, we couldn’t. The problem will be solved at the earliest.”
The issue has left residents struggling with water shortages, adding to their frustration. Authorities have assured that the leakage will be addressed soon.
