GUWAHATI: Guwahati is gearing up for its 11th Queer Pride Parade set to take place on December 22, 2024. Beginning at 1:30 PM from Latasil Field.

The march invites individuals from all walks of life to come together in solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community.
This year’s theme, “Passing the Mic,” focuses on amplifying marginalized voices within the queer community and beyond. The theme aims to highlight the importance of intersectionality, urging recognition and representation across dimensions of gender, sexuality, caste, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Since its inception, Queer Pride Guwahati has been a trailblazer for LGBTQIA+ rights in Northeast India. Over the past decade, the Pride has grown into a vibrant movement, addressing issues of identity, inclusion, and equality.
