In a feat to spread patriotism among the people, villagers in Baksa, Assam are working on the longest National Flag, which they will rally with on August 15, Independence Day.

The initiative has been taken Sunrise Club and local residents of Uporkhuti Gaon.
The 11,340-foot long flag is dedicated to the people of India.
Families and tailors are working round the clock to finish making the flag on time.
Interestingly, no tailor has charged any amount for making this flag.
