GUWAHATI: Two thieves were caught breaking into a Kali temple in the Dhirenpara, Itabhata area of Guwahati in the early hours of Monday, September 30.

The burglary, which occurred around 2:25 AM, was captured on the temple’s CCTV cameras.
The footage shows the two men with their faces covered, carrying an iron rod as they carried out the theft. According to local residents, the thieves stole some cash along with temple utensils.
The incident has left the local community shocked, and a complaint has been filed with the Dhirenpara Police. Authorities are currently investigating the case using the CCTV footage as a key piece of evidence to identify and apprehend the suspects.
Police are urging anyone with additional information to come forward as efforts are underway to ensure the culprits are caught and the stolen items are recovered.
