As per reports, the incident took place at a popular fast food chain two days prior on September 28, when one of the delivery boys was alleged to have been physically abused by a staff member of the restaurant during a food delivery process.

The rider reported that the situation escalated quickly, with the staff refusing to pass the order, while simultaneously continuing to abuse the delivery rider involved in the altercation.

Following the incident, several food delivery riders gathered in protest on Monday, demanding accountability and a formal response from the management. In a bid to address the situation, the manager of the outlet addressed the agitated crowd, promising to deliver a resolve to the situation within two days.

Despite the manager's assurances, many riders remain sceptical. "This is not just about one incident," one of them reportedly said. "It's about our rights and how we are frequently treated by the staff regarding the order process."

As of right now, no FIR has been filed regarding the incident.
