The organisation staged a graphic protest in front of Nehru Park, where a woman was placed on a grill-like structure, appearing 'bloodied' and 'charred' as if being barbecued.
The shocking display was intended to highlight the issue of speciesism—the belief that humans are superior to other animals. However, the stunt has ignited a fierce debate on social media, with many criticizing PETA India for its extreme and unsettling methods.
The demonstration has drawn widespread attention, with opinions divided on whether the message justifies the means.
