GUWAHATI: Assam's pride Riyan Parag on Sunday, October 11, added Bihu to the list of dance moves made by cricketers to celebrate triumphant moments.

"Love these situations. Whenever the team needs me, I put my hand up and rise to the occasion. That's the Bihu dance, the traditional dance of Assam. Some of the Assamese boys were up there as well, had a bit of fun after the game," an ecstatic Parag told broadcasters after the IPL match.

Riyan Parag scored 42 in 26 balls with 2 fours and 2 sixes during the match. While Parag remained not out on 42, middle-order star Rahul Tewatia smashed a quick-fire 45 off 28 balls to help Royals outclass Sunrisers in the high-voltage clash. Tewatia and Parag's late flourish also paved the way for the Smith-led side to snap their four-match losing streak in IPL 2020.

Post the match, while the duo was giving an interview to decode their match-winning partnership, Riyan Parag taught a couple of Bihu steps to Rahul Tewatia.
