In a recent episode of Guwahati Connection, a podcast series by GPlus, Ramdev discussed the growth of Patanjali in Assam, the controversy surrounding Patanjali advertisements, the benefits of yoga, healthy living, and more.

When asked if he encourages people to go to the gym, Ramdev stated, "Going to the gym is great, but yoga is also necessary. All types of physical activities are good; however, obsessing over building a specific body type at the gym is madness. Many gym-goers end up regretting their choices and have shorter life spans. Excessive engagement in either gym or yoga is not healthy."

Regarding the rise in heart attack cases, Ramdev explained, "The issue isn't solely gym workouts, but rather the consumption of junk food, medications, stress, instability, and heartbreak." He emphasized the importance of living a fulfilling life, adding, "People should live a life of trust, yet many exist on the surface. Life is eternal; it has been ongoing since eternity and will continue forever. It should be lived deeply. One must avoid synthetic and artificial substances as much as possible and strive to strengthen themselves.
