GUWAHATI: A conscientious citizen helped clear traffic on Srimanta Sankardev Path (erstwhile GS Road) to let an on-duty ambulance pass on July 24.
He was riding a motorcycle and was seen manoeuvring traffic by riding in front of the ambulance and was asking the vehicles to let the ambulance pass on the busy road.
This act of humanity was caught on video by another rider in the traffic.

It is to be mentioned that the centre recently approved the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill that proposes hefty penalties for violating traffic norms including Rs 10,000 fine for not giving way to emergency vehicles such as ambulances.
