GUWAHATI: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman reached Guwahati on February 27.
Assam finance minister Himanta Biswa Sarma was present at the airport to welcome her.
The Union Minister will be chairing a dialogue 'Jan Jan Ka Budget' with trade and industry representatives, academicians, economists and policy experts.
Sitharaman had last visited Guwahati in August 2019 and she had held an interaction with the direct and indirect tax officials and tax payers of the North Eastern Region.
