GUWAHATI: In a successful operation the Crime Branch of the Assam Police has managed to nab all the four culprits in the Ugratara idol theft case.
Babu one of the four thieves, who was absconding since the heist has also been arrested by the Crime Branch. The other three thieves – Rohit Basfor, Raju Basfor, and Honey Singh, along with a scrap dealer named Farhana Akhtar were arrested earlier in the morning.

These four are allegedly on the CCTV camera footage of the temple and were seen stealing the main idol, gold jewellery, donation box and other materials from the Ugratara Temple, Guwahati.
However, the stolen items are yet to be recovered.
