GUWAHATI: An accident took place in the Bora Service area near SB Deorah College, Guwahati on the night of December 7.

An elderly couple tried to cross the road near the Bora service area when an overspending scooter with two pillions along with the rider bumped into the elderly man. Following the incident, the man and the rider were severely injured.
Locals assisted the injured in reaching Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) for medical treatment. No police officials had managed to reach the spot at the time of filing the report.
