GUWAHATI: A team from Bhagaduttapur Outpost under Dispur Police Station arrested two individuals involved in multiple mobile phone snatching incidents. The operation took place on Wednesday, April 30.

The arrested have been identified as Chinmoy Kashyap, aged 19, from Hidimbapur, and Amlan Sadhoni Borah, aged 20, from Odalbakra. Both are accused of being involved in a series of thefts in the area.
During the operation, police recovered three mobile phones, including a mobile phone that had been reported stolen by a complainant. Additionally, two mobile phones were also recovered. A two-wheeler used in the crimes was also seized.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the extent of the duo’s involvement in other similar cases.
