GUWAHATI: Guwahati Traffic Police announced traffic restrictions in the city for Saturday, January 25, regarding a pre-Republic Day route march. This was issued via a notice released on Friday, January 24.

The march will be held from 3:15 PM and is expected to affect traffic movement in several key areas.
According to the notification, the march will commence from Latasil Field and proceed through MG Road, Pan Bazar, and adjoining routes.
Secondly, vehicles that traverse through AT Road to GNB Road have been instructed to move through the Shani Mandir Point and the ARB Road.
As a result, vehicles have been prohibited from parking along the designated march route, including Latasil, HB Road, and MG Road. Commuters have been advised to use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience.
Officials have also stated that strict monitoring will be in place to ensure the smooth conduct of the march. All vehicular movement along the march route will be diverted during the specified time to facilitate the event.
The police have requested public cooperation to make the event successful. A detailed map of the route has additionally been made available for the convenience of residents.
