GUWAHATI: Toastmasters club of Guwahati organised NELCON (North East Leaders Conclave) in the premises of Hotel Nandan on January 5.
The conclave began on an encouraging note from SSA, Vikas Agarwal which was followed by the felicitation of guests.
Toastmasters International President Elect and Guest of Honor, Richard Peck in his message addressing the guests stressed on the need to have consistency in our efforts, encouraged to work with unity and to see the leader within us. Peck also emphasised on having good communication skills.
Ashutosh Agarwal, Founder of Toastmasters club of Guwahati and Nimish Joseph, Program Quality Director applauded the efforts of the members and the guests for their enthusiastic participation as well as elaborated on the relevance of explore, read and discover in life.
In addition, Newsletter, Issue II was launched by Peck. The conclave concluded with the general meeting pattern of Toastmasters and the induction of new EC for the session January to June.
Other guests included founder Director of Assam Institute of Management, Siddharth Thard who is the President of the club and former chairman of the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA), Shantikam Hazarika.
