Three Assam Civil Service (ACS) officers were arrested on Tuesday after their answer sheets of APSC examination were seized from the residence of Rakesh Paul, former APSC Chairman and kingpin of the Cash-for-Job scam.
The arrested ACS officers are Circle Officer of Helem Bhaskar Jyoti Devasarma who had assumed office on Tuesday, Nalbari Circle Officer Bhaskar Dutta and Patharighat Circle Officer Amit Sarma.
The three were arrested by the Dibrugarh Police and is currently being interrogated in Kahilipara. They would be produced before the court at 2 PM on Wednesday.
