GUWAHATI: A fire erupted at a tent house in Fatasil Ambari area of Guwahati, on April 24.
The cause of the fire was due to an electrical short circuit at around 10:14 AM.

Responding to the situation, Guwahati Fire & Emergency Safety Service (F&ESS) dispatched firefighters to the scene, and the blaze was swiftly brought under control.
Firefighters utilised water spray to extinguish the flames by 11:59 AM. Property damage amounted to ₹5 lakhs, with ₹3 lakhs worth of property saved.
The owner of the establishment has been identified to be Satyam Das.
Speaking to GPlus, an official said, "The situation was taken under control swiftly. Fortunately, no casualties were reported."
