GUWAHATI: Telugu cinema icon Chiranjeevi has achieved a new Guinness World Record as the "Most Prolific Indian Film Star" in the actor/dancer category. The prestigious honour was presented in a ceremony on Sunday, September 22, by Guinness World Records adjudicator Richard Stenning.

Chiranjeevi, whose career spans 45 years, has presented 24,000 dance moves in 537 songs across 156 films. Stenning commended his remarkable achievements after reviewing his performances in all films, calling it “officially amazing.”
Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, present at the event, lauded Chiranjeevi’s infectious energy, and went on to call him an elder brother figure. Several other dignitaries, including Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, also congratulated him on the achievement.
This award holds special significance for Chiranjeevi as it coincides with his film debut in 1978. Reflecting on the honour, he said, "Dancing has been integral to my stardom, and this recognition is a testament to the joy it has brought me throughout my career."
