GUWAHATI: Former Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi said that he was not allowed to hold a press conference at his room in Assam House in New Delhi on June 27.
“For reasons not known, the authority didn’t give the consent to hold a press conference here in Assam house. When I asked the reason, they had failed to provide a valid reason”, said Gogoi.

However, Gogoi addressed the press conference on the footpath of Gopinath Bordoloi path near Assam House in New Delhi.
Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has condemned the incident and questioned why the current Sonowal-led government in Assam is scared of Tarun Gogoi.
