GUWAHATI: The Indian National Congress (INC) announced on Tuesday the appointment of Supriya Bharadwaj as the party's latest National Media Coordinator. Pawan Khera, Chairman of Media & Publicity, confirmed this development, stating that Bharadwaj's appointment would take effect immediately, as of May 14.

The decision to appoint Bharadwaj comes in the wake of the resignation of Radhika Khera, the former National Media Coordinator.

Radhika Khera stepped down from her position following reported conflicts with officials within the party's media wing in Chhattisgarh and other administrative figures. Subsequently, Radhika Khera joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), leaving the National Media Coordinator post vacant.
