GUWAHATI: Singer Arijit Singh will be awarded the Padma Shri 2025 for his contribution to the arts, representing West Bengal.

Meanwhile, renowned ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas, who passed away last year, has been posthumously conferred with the Padma Bhushan.
The Government of India announced the recipients of the 2025 Padma Awards on January 24, which include 7 Padma Vibhushan, 19 Padma Bhushan, and 113 Padma Shri awards.
The President of India will confer these awards at a ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan in March-April 2025.
