The Supreme Court on Friday rejected the bail plea of Subodh Biswas, the prime accused of the Silapathar incident.
Reportedly, the lower court which was supposed to produce statements from 40 witnesses, is yet to record the statements of 7 more witnesses.
The proceedings of the lower court are likely to be completed by January next year.
