GUWAHATI: The Supreme Court through an order has prohibited crackers sounding more than 125db.
The order further prohibits bursting of crackers after 10:00 PM and shall remain during the days of Diwali.
The Kamrup Metro district administration has formed teams to conduct inspections to monitor the commercial stockists and retailers of fire crackers to stop the use of fire crackers generating noise above the permissible level.
