Student from Assam in Bengaluru goes Missing

GUWAHATI: A 23-year-old student from Assam, studying in Bengaluru has gone missing since the evening of 11 February. 

Arghyadeep Mandal, who hails from Sapatgram in Dhubri district was a student of pharma in Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), as reported by Deccan Herald.

Arghyadeep’s maternal uncle, Ashim Mandal said his mobile was found switched off since around 8 pm on February 11, when his mother tried to contact him.

When his friends also failed to provide any information, hostel officials were contracted the next day and a missing complaint was lodged with the Bengaluru police.

Nirmal Kumar Mandal, Arghyadeep’s father was on his way to Bengaluru when the incident was reported.

His father has requested Bengaluru police to take urgent steps to trace his son.
