Streetplays by AGSU on ragging menace

On the first day of the new academic year of colleges under Gauhati University today, the All Guwahati Student’s Union (AGSU) staged streetplays to spread awareness among the students on the evil of ragging and to ensure that the menace is resisted unitedly. AGSU members staged streetplays at Cotton College, Handique Girls’ College, B. Barooah College and Gauhati Commerce College. Apart from students, the guardians and college teachers also took part in the campaign against ragging. Commenting on the initiative, AGSU members said, “The campaign against ragging will be on and the next few days will witness such plays in other colleges of the city.”
