GUWAHATI: A major accident occurred at Gorchuk in the city on 2 December evening.
Two persons were killed on the spot when a bus (AS-15-C-8111) hit their motorcycle (AS-01-DF-0348).
According to eyewitnesses, they died after their motorcycle was hit by a speeding bus from behind on the National Highway at Gorchuk.
The deceased has been identified as Aziz Ahmed and Sahidul Islam.

Both the vehicles were travelling from Lokhra side towards Jalukbari.
