GUWAHATI: The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced the operation of three Shuttle trains between Rangiya Junction and New Bongaigaon Junction on December 19.
These Shuttle trains are scheduled to run daily from December 20 to December 26, 2023, offering a total of seven trips in both directions.
The schedule for the Shuttle trains are:
-Train No. 00809/00810 (Rangiya – New Bongaigaon - Rangiya) will depart from Rangiya at 06:15 hours and arrive at New Bongaigaon at 09:30 hours, with the return journey from New Bongaigaon at 17:30 hours and will arrive at Rangiya at 20:45 hours.
-Train No. 00811/00812 (New Bongaigaon – Rangiya - New Bongaigaon) will depart from New Bongaigaon at 06:30 hours and arrive at Rangiya at 09:45 hours, with the return journey from Rangiya at 10:15 hours and will arrive at New Bongaigaon at 13:15 hours.
-Train No. 00813/00814 (New Bongaigaon – Rangiya - New Bongaigaon) will depart from New Bongaigaon at 13:40 hours and arrive at Rangiya at 16:45 hours with the return journey from Rangiya at 17:45 hours with the train arriving at New Bongaigaon at 21:00 hours.
These Shuttle trains will make stops at Ghograpar, Nalbari, Kaithalkuchi, Tihu, Nizsariha Halt, Pathsala, Sorupeta, Guagachha, Barpeta Road, Sorbhog, Patiladaha, Bijni, Chaprakata, and Bongaigaon stations.
The operation of these Shuttle trains is anticipated to be particularly beneficial for passengers affected by the cancellation, diversion, or short termination of scheduled trains due to ongoing infrastructure development works between Changsari and Agthori Railway stations of the Rangiya division.
