GUWAHATI: Two individuals out of three on a two-wheeler lost their lives in a road accident near Bakhurabori Bonia village in Assam’s Morigaon, on late Wednesday night, April 23. The tragedy occurred as the trio was returning home after participating in a Bihu celebration.
The three young men were travelling on a single motorcycle when the bike, reportedly speeding, veered out of control and slammed into a concrete roadside pole. The collision proved fatal for the two who were brothers, and died instantly at the scene.
The third passenger was thrown from the bike by the force of the crash and landed in a nearby pond, a twist of fate that likely saved his life. Though minorly injured, he survived the accident.
Talking to GPlus, a traffic official from Morigaon said,” The two died on spot but the third passenger was saved by grace of god, we presume. He has no major injuries.”
Further details are now awaited.
