GUWAHATI: The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill will be tabled by Union Minister, Rajnath Singh today at in Rajya Sabha and support against the Bill is pouring in from around the world.
In a talk by Binalakshmi Nepram, an author, who spoke at The New School, a university in New York City, many people came in support against the passing of the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill. A tweet mentioned by the author read that they “stand #STRONG as #WORLD with US.”
Their placards read, “World stands with people of Manipur and Northeast India.”
