GUWAHATI: An abandoned newborn baby, kept in a bag, was found by a lady teacher in Sivasagar’s Namti region on Wednesday morning, October 23.
According to reports, the baby was found lying near a namghar of the area.
Locals of the area condemned the incident and the baby was later sent to Sivasagar Civil Hospital in Joysagar.
