GUWAHATI: The father of Bandana Kalita, the prime accused in the Noonmati murder case in Guwahati, Assam, has asked authorities to shoot his daughter if she is found guilty of murdering her husband and mother-in-law.
"Shoot her (Bandana Kalita) if she has committed the crime," Bandana Kalita's father told the media. "I don't want a daughter like that. If she truly murdered her husband and mother-in-law, I would have nothing to do with her."
He went on to say that his daughter Bandana Kalita had kept him in the dark about her husband and mother-in-law’s disappearances.
Meanwhile, the Assam Police have recovered the mother-in-law's dismembered body parts from Sohra, Meghalaya, and have arrested Bandana and two accomplices of the crime.
