GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Jal Board (GJB) has announced a temporary change in water supply timings for several localities on Friday, April 11 due to scheduled maintenance work by the Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL).

According to the official notification, the water supply will be adjusted in two phases to accommodate the power maintenance schedule:
-From 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the following areas:
Zoo Road, Anil Nagar, Nabin Nagar, Shree Nagar, Tarun Nagar, Bhaskar Nagar, Ambikagirinagar, Narikalbari, and Geetanagar.
-From 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM in all areas served by the Amiya Nagar and Ramsahill reservoirs.
GJB has expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to consumers and has requested residents in the affected areas to plan their water usage accordingly.
Consumers have been advised to stay updated through official Jal Board communication channels for any further announcements.
