GUWAHATI: Seven individuals, including a child, sustained serious injuries in a head-on collision on National Highway 315 near the Ledo Tirap Colliery on Sunday, October 13.

Speaking to Gplus, an official from the Ledo police station confirmed the incident, saying, "The accident took place on Sunday around 6:00 PM, involved a Suzuki Wagonr traveling from Jagun to Margherita and a Mahindra XUV heading towards the colliery from Ledo."
The two vehicles collided near the Ledo Tirap colliery, causing extensive damage and injuring seven individuals.
Emergency responders arrived swiftly, initially transporting the victims to Margherita Civil Hospital. However, due to the severity of their injuries, they were later referred to Dibrugarh for the medical treatment.
