GUWAHATI: Senior Congress leader Mukul Sharma breathed his last following a cardiac arrest in Guwahati on August 19.
Sharma was admitted in a city-based hospital and was suffering from prolonged liver related illness.
Sharma joined Congress in the early 90's and was a GMC councilor. Later he became the Congress chief spoleman and party general secretary.
