SEBA nine-tenth standards will have 4 new elective subjects

GUWAHATI: The Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) will have four elective subjects for class nine and ten. At present, a number of students in class nine are already studying tourism and hospitality management.

The three elective subjects for matriculation are 1) Health Care 2) Private Security 3) Agriculture and Horticulture.

The objective of introducing these elective courses is to make the students aware about subjects that can be more job-oriented and can also foster entrepreneurship. All the elective subjects are vocational in nature.
