GUWAHATI: A boy was caught sending a substantial consignment of ganja via speed post on November 15 from the Noonmati area in Guwahati.
The 17-year-old student was trying to speed the package to Delhi which allegedly contained 7 kg of ganja.
Talking to GPlus, a police official from Noonmati Police Station said “The minor was sent from the India Post office in Noonmati, and during the transit process, the officials suspected the content of the package and immediately informed us.”
During the questioning, the suspect also confessed to having sent drugs through the postal service on prior occasions.
As of now, the boy is still being interrogated and further details are awaited.
