In a bid to provide educational support to underprivileged students in the Northeast region, the Cluster of Stars organisation is conducting the Cluster of Stars Scholarship Test 2024. This scholarship aims to offer free education, including admission to the Pragjyotish Senior Secondary School in Guwahati, along with provisions for lodging, food, and clothing.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Male students from the Northeast region (NER) belonging to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category or with an annual family income not exceeding ₹1,00,000/-.
• Presently studying in Class V/VI, passing the respective annual exam between January 1, 2024, and April 30, 2024, and getting promoted to Class VI/VII.
• Medically fit students not suffering from congenital or contagious diseases, willing to stay in the provided hostel in Guwahati.
• Necessary original certificates, including BPL/income certificate, and Class V/VI mark sheet, along with PAN/Aadhar Card/NRC (of parents), should be produced if selected for the scholarship.
Number of Scholarships:
• 5 scholarships available in 2024, awarded solely on a merit basis. In case of tie in marks, preference given to Class V/VI marks and then seniority of age.
Application Process:
• Application forms available at the trust office, downloadable from the website (clusterofstars.org), or typed as per the given format.
• No application fee is charged for the form or the test.
• Deadline for application submission: February 26, 2024, by 6 PM.
Examination Details:
• Date & Time: March 17, 2024 (Sunday), from 11:30 AM to 01:30 PM.
• Medium & Syllabus: Multiple-choice questions in Mathematics, Science, General Knowledge, and aptitude test of Class V/VI standard. Students can opt for Assamese, Hindi, English, or Bengali as the medium.
