GUWAHATI: The State Council Of Educational Research And Training (SCERT) is set to announce the district-wise overall and category-wise ranks for Assam DElEd 2023 today. Aspiring candidates can access this information on the official website, scertpet.co.in.
The SCERT Assam DElEd Pre Entry Test (PET) results were released on September 24. Candidates who successfully cleared the exam were allowed to register for the online counselling round, which remained open until September 30.
In accordance with the updated admission timetable provided by the authority, the results for the first round of Assam DElEd counselling seat allotment are scheduled to be declared on October 5. Following the allotment results, candidates are required to complete physical admission and document verification at their allocated institutes from October 6 to 7.
Institutes have been tasked with submitting admission reports and vacancy lists by 5 PM on October 9. Information regarding vacant seats and the outcome of the second round of allotment will be announced on October 11.
Physical admission with document verification in the allotted institute will take place on October 13-16 while online submission of admission reports and vacancy lists by respective institutes to the Directorate of SCERT, Assam will take place up to 5 PM on October 17. Publication of the vacancy list (subject to availability of seats) and online counselling for revision/modification of preferences of Teacher Education Institutes (TEIs) by the candidates will take place between October 19-24.
Admission to Assam DElEd 2023 is done based on a merit system, considering a candidate's performance in the Pre-Entry Test (PET) and their marks in the HSSLC/class 12 level or Bachelor's degree exam. Candidates will be assigned institutes in their respective districts based on seat availability and merit.
