GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Cyber Police Station recovered ₹39,600 for a victim of a fake APDCL scam on Wednesday, August 28.

The scam, which targeted a resident of Bamunaidam, involved fraudulent claims related to the Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL).
Following the victim’s report, the authorities managed to recover the entire defrauded amount of ₹39,600, which has now been credited back into the victim’s bank account.
